What activity? Everything? Your logs will be absurdly huge!
Please ask a detailed question so we are not all taking wild guesses here. What are you trying to accomplish?
What info do you need? Details, details, details!

I want to set up a better home network with with a Linux server serving windows and Linux computers Internet. My current gateway is fed by a quest action tech and a switch which works fine but we need a way to print globally, share music/files and have better security. In order to even start setting this up my dad wants to know a weeks worth of all HTML traffic passing through the Internet/server that can be viewed some how by his winblows xp computer. I also have no clue how I'm going to connect the action tech to the server and set the Linux server up.

Hello slash587,

You have to enable promiscous mode for the ethernet interface you are listening on. By enabling this, the interface becomes capable of capturing packets which are not destined to it. You can enable it using the command "ifup eth0 promisc on" after issuing the command "ifdown eth0". After this you can use tools such as 'tcpdump' or 'ethereal' to capture data packets.

Please write in if problems persist,

Vimal.
