Clients being linux can't use Active mode FTP
Here is a bit of a wierd one. Most people have a problem getting active FTP to go through a firewall to a server behind. The problem I am having is that I can't get any of my clients to behind to connect to an active ftp server on the public internet.
Any ideas?
I don't think it has to do with Connection tracking because it is an outbound connection.
They are able to authenticate then when I do an ls it states that the port command is successful and that it is starting an ascii transfer and then hangs up there. Eventually it times out.
I am SURE this is a established connection issue but I can't figure out where.
