changing the group


see people, there is two workgroup on my linux9 redhat smb's, one is my network group called GERJALIBIEN and one is the defaut and its contain my own system called MYGROUP, how to change this condition to be one name only, and its the first i choose. thanks for replying.

edit the /etc/samba/smb.conf file, if GERJALIBIEN is showing up, then delete the line that says "workgroup = MYGROUP". If GERJALIBIEN is not showing up, then edit MYGROUP to say GERJALIBIEN.

do a service smb reload and you should be all set.
