Changing user's group?

I have a number of members on my server that upload stuff via ProFTPD. So everybody has an actual account on my server. When I added the usernames, I didn't specify a group to assign them, so they were all given groups named after their username. Is there a command I can put in that'll assign everyone to the group "users"? I know a single user can be in a bunch of groups, but "users" is the only one that I want 'em all to be in. This is in RH9, by the way.

Thanks!

Hi.

Yeah you can do this by doing this as root....

usermod -g users username1
usermod -g users username2

etc. etc.

Is this what you were after?

Good luck.
