Can SQUID2.6 work with Lokiwall?
Hello list:
I am running Lokiwall (a firewall which I use for load-balancing two DSL connections) on a Red Hat Enterprise Linux 4.0 machine. The objective of load balancing was accomplished after making some changes in the script. Now I want Lokiwall to log where users are going. Can I use SQUID 2.6 for that purpose? Note that I also installed SQUID 2.6 (from source code). But I found that /var/logs/access.log was empty. This means squid is not intercepting requests, rather its the firewall that is serving all the clients.
Lokiwall itself has no logs in it. There is only one file in /etc/firewall/log which contains lokiwall own log, such as start, stop, etc; not the ones which shows where users are visiting like access.log in squid.
Besides, there is another location: /var/log/firewall/. But the strange thing is that there is no file here. The great thing about Lokiwall is that there is no documentation available yet :-(
Can some one tell me how to solve this problem from your experience of using this script?
TIA
