Hi,
i'm looking for a way to bypass my university's proxy. The proxy blocks mirc, msn,...
All the pupils here use the hopster program for it, but as I don't use windows I'm stuck.
Has anyone got any ideas how to do this?

Depends. I take it that port 80 and presumably some more are blocked by the proxy.
FInd a port that is not blocked (try 8080, 8000,... only a few ports will actually be blocked, so you won't have a problem). Then go to https://www.antiproxy.com/ and find a proxy on that port and use it instead of the official one.
erm.. yeah we're really not here to tell you how to get around your network against the will of the owners.... the proxy is there for a reason, and more than likely there is no "bypass" possible. not a good proxy if it is possible... also any decent network will be blocking anti proxying sites.

The port of the proxy is 3128, but all the proxies in those lists are down.

The owners wouldn't mind if I got around the proxy.
And a bypass is possible, everyone does it with hopster. And the owners of the proxy are fine with that, as long as they have officially a proxy, everything is ok.
