Apache 2.0.52 funny characters on web page

Hi,

I upgraded to Apache 2.0.52 (Fedora C3). Now, unless I have

everywhere, quotes and apostrophies (" and ') turn into small diamond shape with question mark in it like this .

This is also for dashes. It shows up in peoples emails when they use webmail.

Can I overide / change something in httpd.conf ?

Thanks
Manuel

look's like a mismatch with your systems default caracters encoding. there are often problems with different locale-settings aka utf8 or iso8859-15 in the served pages and on the system/apache configuration.

aka apache has no idea how to display this utf8/iso caracter?

sorry, i don't have a quick solution for this, but i've seen these symptoms.

can also be a browser thingy.

HTH

sl mritch.
