ADSL with Speed Touch USB on Slackware 10

I'm trying to connect with these 3 but i'm getting troubled.
i've installed the speedtouch driver, and loaded de uhci module, but when I run the speedtouch-start it freezes on the preliminary USB modules, and the /var/log/messages don't show any error message. so i've tried in another tty adsl-start, and it gets the following:

TIMED OUT
line 194: 2512 Terminated $connect "#@" /dev/null 2>81

(the numbers here may vary)

I don't know what else can I try, somebody does?

According to this website

http://www.linux-usb.org/SpeedTouch/

You need to have more USB drivers present. Recompiling the kernel is your next step in order to support this.

Cheers
