Wink Adding 2nd NIC to FC4 Machine

Hi all,

I am adding a second NIC to my FC4 machine and I recall that there are some routing issues associated with this. How can I install the card and ensure it won't affect the primary NIC?

Are there any considerations I need to think about?

The second network card will be for a second IP address NAT from an additional router.

/dev/eth0 - 192.168.1
/dev/eth1 - 10.10.1

Thanks,
Joe

Visit the Linux Advanced Routing HOWTO

Starting at Section 4, it goes on to describe split routing using the ip command.

Thanks for the reply. I have had a difficult time with this indeed. I have not gotten it working as of yet, but I am very close. The advanced routing information really helped.

Thanks again.
