Failed to scan

I can not get my Canon MG2220 scanner to scan.

Simple Scan says "Failed to scan."

Correct drivers were installed.

Yes, it runs o.k. with the 32 bit version of Slacko 6.3.0.

As a temp step, I still have the 32 bit version for when I have to scan documents.

But I would like to get the 64 bit version repaired if possible.
