[SOLVED] can't open cd drive in mint 14

I'M A NEWBIE...and just installed linuxmint 14 ?....and
my problem is...I see my dvd drive & it works ok. but the
cd drive doesn't.

I clicked the cd drive eject button & I get this message:

Error ejecting /dev/sr1: Command-line 'eject "/dev/sr1"' exited
with non-zero exit status 1: unable to eject, last error: Inappropriate ioctl for device (udisks-error-quark, 0)

how do i fix this to access my cd drive?

This solution worked for me:

I found it in a bug report on launchpad
