Wireless button on Compaq M2000 not working in Mandriva 2006; but did once before
Hello, I'm a n00b to Linux, but I only have one problem: wireless card
I'm running the latest version of Mandriva on a Compaq M2000 Laptop. The wireless card is a broadcom AirForce One card. Mandriva detects the card, and I've installed the drivers for the card through the Mandriva control panel. the problem I have is that the card will not turn on. I hit the wireless button above the keyboard, but it won't turn the wireless on. I had installed Mandriva before hand and the wireless worked perfectly, but then I decided to try different distros, and now I'm back to Mandriva, and it doesn't work anymore.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
