USB modem

Toshiba Satellite L505D-S5965 x86-64
I'm sending this from my SuSE-11.1, because Fedora-12 refuses do acknowledge the USM modem, insisting on a "generic modem," while SuSE has no problem.
I've already reinstalled F-12 three times, in the hope that somehow it would clear the USB modem issue.
Thanks!

What is the make/model of the MODEM?
Post the output of the command lsusb.

It appears that SuSE recognizes the device and loads the modules but Fedora does not.

make/model: Zoom 56K USB Modem Series 1063

output of the command lsusb: sorry, it has to wait, because right now I'm at my Microdel desktop, the Toshiba unavailable at the moment.

As I said before, the Zoom works fine with SuSE, it's Fedora which doesn't "like" it...

Thanks!

It appears that Fedora does not include the specific modules for this MODEM.
