Ubuntu dual-boot not working on asus laptop

Hello, I have an Asus zenBook 15 UX533FD that comes with Windows Home edition. I wanted to dual boot my laptop with Ubuntu and so I flashed the downloaded ISO file to my Kingston USB drive using Etcher. But the issue is I can not dual boot it. It doesn't allow me to switch between operating systems and it just boots straightaway to Windows. On the tutorial I watched, there is a menu which comes to select which OS to choose. I followed the exact steps. After the first installation, I thought there is something wrong with my USB stick so I formatted the drive and installed the system again but still the issue remains. I allocated an entire partition for Ubuntu (About 250GB). Any advice you could give would be much appreciated.

Windows 10 likely was installed with an efi partition as the first partition on the primary drive. Installing Ubuntu properly should have required you to do a UEFI install and to mount the efi partition on the resulting install in order to properly boot.

You said you followed the steps of a tutorial, but we have no clue what instructions you were watching, when it was created, where it is so we can review it for accuracy, etc., so we really need a lot more detail on what steps you followed, exactly what you did, etc.

Once we have more information then it is possible someone can provide informed suggestions to assist.
