Ubuntu 11.10: Dual boot windows: internet good windows vv slow Ubuntu: ASUS 68 moth


I have two machines on this site, a samsung which connects well wireless. My "main frame" has a wired connection but is also v slow on ubuntu but is fine using windows. The motherboard is an ASus P8Z 68V LX (on the box) Note that our overlaal internet is relatively slow Max 150 kilobytes per sec.
