Texas instrument 5 in 1 card reader in sony vaio vgn 130g


Hi, i have a sony vaio vgn 130g with Texas instrument 5 in 1 card reader, running on suse 10.2. I have a lot of weeks trying this to work, but with not success. Plis help me

Hi

Place the SD card in the memory reader.

Open a terminal session and run the following command as root

fdisk -l

This will list all the disks attached

You should look for the something simular to the following

Device Boot Start End Blocks Id System
/dev/sdc1 * 1 3819 977648 b W95 FAT32

To mount the SD you can do the following

mkdir /media/sd

mount /dev/sdc1 /media/sd

If it's a TI reader (and if it's a supported one), SD cards are more likely to show up as:

/dev/mmcblkXX (where XX is a number)

Thanks for the help but nothing that you tell me work! remember that im in suse 10.2 and also i dont have any tifm module install.
