You can try to add the marked line (!!!) to your /etc/X11/xorg.conf:
Code:
Section "Device"
### Available Driver options are:-
### Values: <i>: integer, <f>: float, <bool>: "True"/"False",
### <string>: "String", <freq>: "<f> Hz/kHz/MHz"
### [arg]: arg optional
Option "NoAccel" "true" # [<bool>]
#Option "SWcursor" # [<bool>]
#Option "ColorKey" # <i>
#Option "CacheLines" # <i>
#Option "Dac6Bit" # [<bool>]
#Option "DRI" # [<bool>]
#Option "NoDDC" # [<bool>]
#Option "ShowCache" # [<bool>]
#Option "XvMCSurfaces" # <i>
!!! Option "nvAGP" "1"
#Option "PageFlip" # [<bool>]
Identifier "Card0"
Driver "nvidia"
EndSection
This worked here on two notebooks with NVIDIA graphic chips. Without this line there was also only a black screen after resume out of hibernation mode.
