Bios problems are very hard to get fixed. I've mailed eMachines about it a number of times, no responce on any of them. Good luck on that route. I'm working on an updated DSDT table that works, but so far I've only managed to crash my system a few times...

brightness

slightly off the topic here
m6805
suse 9.1 with kde 3.2.1
I cannot get my fn keys. and my monitor's brightness control and it's settings.
Still trying to figure out if there was problem with acpi.

any one know where I could get a package that enables brightness control for m6805?

monitor config

I'm having trouble on configuring my m6805 monitor. I can I possibly know where the frequencies, depths, x, y, settings are?


I'm just a starter, please give me a reply.
