Unhappy Sound problem with suse entrprise Desktop


hello all

am facing aserious problem that makes me confused hmm , i have acer 6501 and install Suse Enterprise linux desktop on it and every thing is well ,, sound card is automatically detectabel and i wans glade for that but :S when am going to play amusic or some thing in MP3 or Rm format the music is playing and the player play it but i didnot hear any thing :s i made some configuration i made up for the sound system and also nothing happend :S and i set it from the player wit higher voice and i cannot hear any thing plz help

Check the basics first. Make sure the speakers are plugged in correctly, and turned up. Bring up a mixer. If you do not have one installed, install Alsamixer. Look to see if you are muted.

every thing in well there is not any thing muted or unplugged !!!!!!!!!!!!
