Mcorbett1 LQ Newbie Registered: Nov 2009 Location: Rural central Texas Distribution: Ubuntu 10-04 Posts: 5 Rep:	Mouse/touchpad utility in 11.04 I recently installed Ubuntu 11.04 on a new Asus U56E, Intel i5. The Mouse utility has no feature to adjust the settings on the touchpad. I would like to be able to disable the touchpad when typing and to use the finger scroll feature found in later versions of Ubuntu. I tried installing 11.10 and 12.04, but neither of these later versions could connect my wireless internet, although they showed the router. Nothing in the Ubuntu Software center would work either.
