Knoppix boot on HP amd turion cpu


I have a HP laptop with amd turion 64 cpu, which knopppix version am i supposed to use?

I have to boot it up in linux in order to restore some of the files, windows fucked up (have to make it clear, not my computer :P) and i'm running knoppix in order to transfer those files over to my computer... my knoppix amd64 cd won't work, do i need a different platform, or a newer version?
