Hi, I wondered is the AMD Turion™ 64 ML-30 processor is 64 bits, I think it is but just wanted to make sure before I waste my CD's...

Update; I'm now running with the just release 2.6.15 kernel with the cdfs patch and the acpi patch (for a custom dsdt). Battery is now monitored (acpi patch) and can mount audio CD's. Both patches require some minor editing (acpi patch) and fixing of the Makefile (cdfs patch).

acpi patch found here;
http://gaugusch.at/kernel.shtml

cdfs patch found here (get the cdfs-2.6.12.tar.bz2 file);
