I am looking for a way to wipe windows mobile 6 off my Samsung Blackjack and install a copy of linux os onto it something like what google is doing I would like to know if anyone has a working copy of an os for the samsung or if they know where I need to look to find it. I have already done a registry and applications unlock on the samsung and have tweaked it some but I would like to see what i could do with a linus os running on it. any help would be great
after reviewing this site it seems that they have ported the
Linux Kernel to the processor of the Blackjack. But I didn't see
any thing that would be usable...
Thanks I will look into it and will keep everyone posted on what I find, I am hoping that I will be able to show a full working model of it soon I will try to download and install tomorrow.
I would wait a while before I installed anything
because what I understood from that website was that only the Kernel
was ported which means that only about one-third of the work is done
so even if you installed it,your phone would be basically unusable
Thanks I will look into it and will keep everyone posted on what I find, I am hoping that I will be able to show a full working model of it soon I will try to download and install tomorrow.
