IBM Thinkpad T22

What should I install on this slow beast haha.

900MHZ P3M
512MB Ram
Linksys WPC11 ver.3 wireless card
Thats basically all I know about it.

I was thinking of SUSE if Windows XP ran really slow.

I need battery controll and wireless. Also the sound and I dont really have alot of time to fuss with things but maybe this laptop is compatable with linux.

Thanks for anyhelp.

whatever you want... thinkpads run linux very well in the main. just don't expect massive performance if you inflick kde on it.

Since when was a 900MHz P3 slow? I have a P2-300/128MB thinkpad which runs Slackware very nicely thank you (except slow-arsed bloat like firefox, eating half my frelling ram).

Hey, I have this same laptop and the same Linksys card, but my wireless card is version 4.: I am having trouble choosing a distro though.: I'm about to try Slackware I think, FC6, or Linux Mint.:
