how to enter BIOS on ibm thinkpad 380ed?


F1 F2 F11 F12 F8 del do not do the trick


any tips?

On a Thinkpad 755, press and continue to hold F1 while turning on power,thru POST till it enters bios. Might be the same for yours.

To get to the BIOS do the following: Ctrl+Alt+F11 from a DOS prompt

hold F1 down while powering on and keep holding it until BIOS setup screen comes up (long beep)

I was wrong in my last post. I misaligned the rows of two different model sets. According to the IBM BIOS simulator page you just hold the F1 down then power the machine on and it should go into the BIOS.
