I'm hoping that I'm in the right forum for this question (this could potentially be a kernel issue). I'm trying to not have to shut my laptop down completely when moving from one place to another but I'm having to because kernel I try to suspend the system, the system starts the suspension process than at the point it's freezing the cpu.. it just hangs. it's wired because before when i was using the Open SuSE version of SuSE, I didnt have these problems. Now, if I don't push the power key to shut down completely, I could be walking down the street with the laptop on and totally unaware of it. Any direction would be greatly appreciated.

i saw this posted on another thread. I've never tried it, but you did ask for any direction
