This will help, since CentOS is like Red Hat

Install Windows first.

Incidentally, have you actually paid for Red Hat? If you haven't, then you've just got a demo disk and you can't get any upgrades or bug fixes: you need a free distro, like CentOS.

Which operating system is loading? Ensure you have installed windows 7 first and then a linux distro.

You might also do a search for a disk called super grub or maybe it's super disk. It should identify all bootable OS on the drive. Boot into Linux and update grub. It should find all the OS and fix your problem.

also be aware that RHEL5 is old .Still in support but is starting to show it's age
the current in the older rhel 5 series is RHEL 5.9

if you have VERY new hardware ( newer that 1 to 2 years old )
RHEL5 might not even install

RHEL 6.4 is the current

and if you did not or are not going to buy the required support contract then DO NOT use it !

instead install CentOS 6.4 , unless you 100% must use the older 5.9 for legacy support of old programs .

CentOS is a FREE rebuild of RHEL
