RHEL 4 booting problem

Hi everyone,

i'm not quite sure this is the right place to put that kind of question so i hope i'm not getting someone mad.

I installed a Redhat 4 Update 2 on a laptop Dell Inspiron 1300. Installtion was successful, but the system cannot boot. It hangs on "Initializing hardware ... storage network Disabling IRQ #11"

Nothing comes after that, i can't reboot even.
Does anybody have a clue what's happening with it and why is it not booting normally?

Regards
