CXT V92 modem rpms ?


hi ,
I'm running mandrake10.1 on my compaq presario (kernel 2.6_8_12 on i686) .
The modem i have is CXT V92 , i looked up the linmodems.org and installed
hsfmodem-7.18.00.05full_k2.6.8.1_12mdk-1mdk.i586.rpm but it does not seem to
work ??? Are any other there linmodem rpms availbe of this modem .


Oh guru's of Linux help me pleaseee!!!

You can download the sources and compile your own drivers, but it's very strange that those doesn't work because they seem to be compiled for you kernel's version.

You say the drivers doesn't seem to work. Why?
