My boss had me install one on one of the xp machines, none of the drivers it came with worked - had to download them them from the site. I have noticed that they seem to be crap at getting an uninterupted dial tone (for the comparision the US Robotics one we have works fine on the same line). You just have to keep trying, to be frank I would have spent a couple more £££ and got a decent modem. Don't know anything about linux compatibility, cos I just use the US robotics job... just thought I should warn you about the rest though

I bought one of those NetoDragon modems and couldn't get it to work, either, so I sold it and bought an external one.....no more connection problems.
