Cannot have a video conversation on my netbook

Hi all
Ive got linpus lite on an acer aspire one.
When i use messenger i cannot have a voice conversation or a video web cam conversation with my daughter who is on messenger (shes on windows xp)

Surely limpus supports this else why buy one? The book says it does
However if i try a vid conv it is grey and wont let me
Im so bl++++y frustrated with it.
Am i a driver short or is there some other reason?

I haven't heard much good about Linpus. You might want to replace it with one of the distributions made for netbooks and then install an MSN IM client that works with webcam (I believe aMSN should)
