Unhappy Can't Enter X-windows???My monitor?


What's wrong with my system?
I've installed the two files for nvidia ,but the problem still exist.
Some information in the "XFree86.0.log" is:

no screens found

When reporting a problem related to a server crash, please send
the full server output, not just the last messages.
This can be found in the log file "/var/log/XFree86.0.log".
Please report problems to xfree86@xfree86.org.

Is the option of the monitor wrong?
Could any one help me?

hmm, you didn't specify what disto you are using, that would help as the programs used for config/diagnosis are different depending on your distro, but if it's redhat, then try running Xconfigurator and having it try and autoprobe your settinfs for you
debian, i think it's someting like anXious.

another thing you might want to try is to recompile the kernel to do that
