Angry Random windows open when I press enter in KDE

Hi,

I think KDE is trying to drive me insane. I'm running KDE 3.1 on Debian testing with kernel version 2.4.22 and browser windows have started opening whenever I press return/enter.

It happens when I'm typing in the console or on web pages (5 Konqueror windows have opened since I started typing this) and it either loads Konqueror and goes to my home dir or ~/Desktop/Trash. Occasionally Mozilla Firebird will load instead of Konqueror.

If anyone has any idea what's going on I'd love to hear from you.

Thanks
D.
