Okay, regarding nfs, i had long disabled every nfs-related daemons since i'm not using them and my fstab file doesn't mention anything pertaining to nfs, file is as follows(typed by hand again)

Code:
#
# /etc/fstab
# Created by anaconda on Sat Aug 31 21:42:21 2013
#
#.....etc.....
#
#
/dev/mapper/vg_236-lv_root /                         ext4   defaults          1  1
UUID=98a6d6d7-1219-4b6a-ae02-aca90c7477a5 /boot     ext4   defaults          1  2
UUID=8168-2B94               /boot/efi               vfat    umask=0077,shortname=winnt 0 0
/dev/mapper/vg_236-lv_home /home                    ext4   defaults          1  2
/dev/mapper/vg_236-lv_swap swap                     swap   defaults          0  0
tmpfs                /dev/shm                     tmpfs  defaults        0  0
devpts               /dev/pts                     devpts gid=5,mode=620  0  0
sysfs                /sys                         sysfs  defaults        0  0
proc                 /proc                        proc   defaults        0  0
how can i know looking at it that it's sanely formatted? from what i see it looks okay, from the install-day memories at least
