Alsa BTSCO: problems when loading module

I am trying to set a bluetooth headset and I am using FEDORA CORE 4. Kernel: 2.6.11-1.1369_FC4

I am following the instruction at:
http://www.linux.ie/articles/bluetoothheadset.php

I have been able to recognize the usb bluetooth and pair the headset, however I am having troubles to load the btsco module. I am trying btsco version 0.42, but I have already tried 0.41 and 0.5.

When I do:
modprobe snd-bt-sco

I get:
FATAL: Error inserting snd_bt_sco (/lib/modules/2.6.11-1.1369_FC4/extra/snd-bt-sco.ko): Unknown symbol in module, or unknown parameter (see dmesg)

dmesg returs:
snd_bt_sco: disagrees about version of symbol snd_pcm_new
snd_bt_sco: Unknown symbol snd_pcm_new
snd_bt_sco: disagrees about version of symbol snd_ctl_new1
snd_bt_sco: Unknown symbol snd_ctl_new1
snd_bt_sco: disagrees about version of symbol snd_pcm_lib_ioctl
snd_bt_sco: Unknown symbol snd_pcm_lib_ioctl

btsco README file says:
4. For SCO (two-way voice quality audio) you need a kernel with the
emu10k1 driver selected (this is one of the drivers that forces the inclusion of the implementation of "snd_hwdep_new").

Is that the problem ? Does the 2.6.11-1.1369_FC4 kernel have emu10k1 ?

What should I do to know if the kernel has emu10k1 selected ?
How can I select it ?

Any other advice in order to have the headset working ?
Thanks in advance.

The site for bluetooth alsa, http://bluetooth-alsa.sourceforge.net encourages people to use the alsa plugin instead of the bt-sco kernel module but this does require a kernel patch.

If you wish to use the bt-sco module anyway, make sure you have all the other sound modules needed.
Start with
modprobe snd-emu10k1
which should add all the other ones you need.
Use `lsmod` to list them.
