I tried to make the u-boot for sama5d3 board. getting the error "Your GCC is older than 6.0 and is not supported" I changed the gcc and g++ versions also but same error. kindly assist

Thank you for your time. The issue is resolved by using the gcc linaro 7.3.1 cross compiler toolchain. But my doubt is, using this (linaro) toolchain, when I cross compile a 'c' code and port to the sama5d3 board, it isn't working. If arm-poky-linux cross compiler toolchain is used to compile the 'c' code and port to the board. it works. So why does this toolchain (arm-poky-linux) not able to build the u-boot but able to build the 'c' files or ko files. On the contrary, the 'c' code which was build using linaro 7.3.1 toolchain failed to work on the target board(sama5d36), but it builds the u-boot perfectly and works.
