2.6.22 cpufreqd does not work, (Debian lenny)


Hya,

Problem is:
cpufreqd does not work, on 2.6.22.5 (always same freq, regardless of CPU load)

Same laptop, everything else is same, it works on kernel 2.6.20/21.
P4-clockmod, on Celeron M, Debian Lenny

/sys/devices/system/cpu/cpu0/cpufreqd directory looks to have correct info, except for scaling_cur_freq, which is always same (and low).

What shall I do next??

Big APOLOGY.

It turned out to be non-functional acpi. For some reason, acpi was not turned on.
