Question Which webcam has good fps under linux ?

I have bought a Logitech Quickam Express and I get very low fps. I have learned that it's because the alogrithm of image compression is not given by logitech.

Instead of buying all the webcam supported by linux and test them, I would appreciate if you could tell me the an avg fps (in 350*288) you manage to get under linux (obviously).

The webcam will be used in a robot (with embedded linux) with an avg speed of 1m/s. That's why speed is highly important

Thanks in advance.

Thanks for all your answer

Just in case someone use a Logitech Quickcam Express or Web use this driver (as it seems to be hard to get help in this forum):
http://www.ee.oulu.fi/~tuukkat/quickcam/quickcam.html

It is a modified driver of qce-ga driver (http://qce-ga.sourceforge.net)

The compression module has been added and I get 8-9 fps.
It's cool.
