Question Whay is my screen resolution Wrong SuSe 10

Installed SuSe10 screen resolution off the scale, can cut it down to 800*600, the card is identified as Intel i845 Intel8284sg/gl.

Everything worked great under Mandrake 10.1 and Fedora 5.

Before installation there is an option (F3 I think) to set your resolution. Also, there is a discussion here about the same type of thing if you can get to a command prompt.

The very bottom of the page shows what he did to resolve it.
