USB devices cause complete lockup of Netvista machine
I have a Netvista (8305-43U) machine running what I believe is Redhat 3.5 enterprise. If I do a uname -r I get 2.4.21-37.EL.
If I plug in any USB device, (mouse, webcam, USB memory stick) the whole system locks up hard (mouse cursor locks up, keyboard is unresponsive, etc)
Is there some way of monitoring the hardware to establish what the cause of the lockup is? Or perhaps you guys may already know what could cause this to happen?
Thanks,
-Adam
