Unmount Samba

Hi all,
I have 2 problems but probably linked. I have homes as a mount and when i unmount it and restart the computer it loads back in. Also the computer detects a samba server even when disconnected from the network, and it has never being loaded on.

I have checked smb.conf and there is noting there that should cause homes to load into mnt. Would anybody have any sugestions?
Thanks for any help,
Matthew
