I have a TV tuner Card (Pinnacle) with a M$-Windows setup CD. This CD contains all the software related to this Card. A software is also available to track all the channels and finally the TV Viewer.
How do I go about in fedora ?
Is there any software (pref. open source) available ?
Distribution: Switched to regualr Ubuntu, because I don't like KDE4, at all. Looks like vista on crack.....

I'm not sure if your card is supported or not, but if it is, this tutorial did help me quite a bit. Others might be able to help a little more if you post the exact model of tv card you have.
Posting with out providing any information such as the model of the card and/or /sbin/lspci does not get you far when getting help on the internet. Please provide this information so I or someone else can help you.
Use tvtime for SAA713x and CX2388x based cards.
Use xawtv for bt878 based cards.
Use mplayer for PVR (MPEG-1/2) cards but only if using kernel version 2.6.18 or higher and mplayer was compiled to support ivtv.
Zapping, KDEtv, and others do not work well for testing and they are buggy.
