best tuner card?

i am in need of a tuner card with a coaxial in so it can be hooked up directly to my cable. what is the best card that is well supported in both windows and linux?

how could you automatically assume that i didn't search the forums? i did, and i didn't find anything that answered my question completely.

And about 59 other posts regarding TV Tuners on this forum. Moderators are here to moderate along with helping members. If you searched and couldn't find anything, you should include that in your post. Cause from what I've searched and come up with, I'd know what kind of TV Tuner to buy..
