trying to get epson r320 to work via printserver and mepis

I've got a problem trying to get this printer to work.I can ping the print server which is a trendnet te-100ps1u usb print server with no problems.I can enter the servers web interface also.I've set it up in CUPS (cannot recall all the specifics as I'm on xp right now)but when I did a test print it said que was sent to printer but nothing happens.thought it was a server issue but since I can access its web interface page think its a printer driver issue now.....Any help on this will be highly appreciated..thanks..well went back and hooked printer up without the print server and can get it to work in cups..its just when its hooked up to the server that I cannot get it to work.I tried about every option I could see in cups with no luck. oh and right now I'm using suse 9.2.(just removed mepis)
