Crikey! That was REAL quick - 7 minutes later - and you're in Arizona, in the good old HONEST US of A. You don't have a ... comfortable relationship with Redmond, do you?

Not "doing anything" obviously includes such things as million-dollar lawsuits to try to make Lx illegal:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Criticism_of_Microsoft
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Microsoft_litigation
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Europea...mpetition_case

... but that was YEARS ago. Much quieter and more subtle now.

No, in fact I quite dislike Microsoft. But I dislike people making linux users look disrespectable by spreading FUD even less. I don't believe in stooping to MS's level.

Yes ... well, that's what you'd be expected to say 4 minutes later ...

And all of that bragging about laptops ... and poor old Debian ... who took Ian out is what we're all wondering.

Wouldn't know anything about that? Especially as a new deal was cut between M$ and Deb(NOT)ian about two weeks after he'd been burnt and blown away.
