Question testing video card?


Hi guys,

i have one simple question:

How can i test what video card & driver my PC is using?
is there a comman line for it?

Are you trying to figure out the make and model?

If so, at the prompt type lspci. It should show up there.

man page here

well i was actully wondering how my video card is working, if it's using the right drivers? my video card is pretty old, so if it's not using the right drivers, then it will work worse than normal.
so i want to know, in case that something is wrong & i can fix it.
thanks for the help though, i didn't know about this command!
