Question How to testing network card by C/C++

Hii all,

Have everyone know how to test a network card at computer still work good (wrong card) by C/C++ programming at Linux.

I attempted to bulding a system has server and client modules using socket to listen and connect on address "127.0.0.1" or "0.0.0.0" but it seem like work good on all state (when I put out my net card 2 application also can communicated).
I know this mistake because socket is interprocess comunication language.

But I don't know how to testing the network card by programming. Have everyone know? Please help me solve it.

Thank you so much.
James
