Lightbulb Terrible graphics while booting SuSE 9.3

Hey everyone, how's it going?

I currently use Suse 9.3 Pro, and I've got an ATI Radeon x700 Pro 256Mb PCI-Express graphics card. When SuSe is booting up, the graphics there look terrible. On another box, with an integraded vga, the graphics were fine while I was starting the system.

Is there a way to fix this problem? Thanks a lot!

Congratulations on a nice PC.
Please explain what you mean:
Is it low colour, or bad resolution or is there an
actual problem with the graphics (like corruption)?

One it's booted does it stop?
If so, when does it stop?

Thanks,
Riddick

thanks.

usually, when suse starts to boot up (before the login screen), you'd see some fancy welcome screen. It has quite a few languages on it that says welcome. Then, afterward, it'll say that your system is starting.

On my computer, however, the colours on the pre-bootup screens seem to be... what's the right word for it... messed up. It appeared to be having a very low colour depth. Probably the lowest. Edges of certain graphics were even slightly pixelated. It boots up fine though, everything else worked well.

I'd appreciate your help!
