Having trouble installing a piece of hardware? Want to know if that peripheral is compatible with Linux?

SuSE 8.2 & Surround Sound

Just moved from Red Hat 9 to SuSE 8.2.

I have a SoundBlaster Live card using EMU10k driver. I had no problems with surround sound in Red Hat, (I have a set of Altec Lansing surround sound speakers) however using SuSE sound is only coming from one speaker.

I have used alsamixer to try and adjust this, but to no avail. I have tried adjusting all the surround options but still sound only comes from one speaker.

Suggestions? (please!)
