Still no sound in Fedora

I've used FC2 for months, without sound. Then two weeks ago I switched to mandrake. I got sick of it's n00bness and I'm now running FC3. On MDK, I had sound, but only one app could make a sound at the time. It was using the ESD (ESounD/Enlightened Sound Daemon). I tried using the same settings I had in MDK here, but no use.
I'm on KDE and the kernel is 2.6.9-1
(BTW, If it's possible without aRtsd running, I'd like that...I'm sick of aRtsd.

Have you tried reinstalling alsa? Btw don't use FC3, it is still in beta (or just instable as hell).
I use FC2.
